Job Description

Point72 is seeking an AI Engineer to join their Discretionary Equity business. The AI Engineer will focus on identifying, developing, and building AI/ML solutions to deliver differentiated insights and enhance performance.

The AI Engineer will play a key role in identifying business problems and solving them through advanced AI/ML techniques. The role involves building prototypes and delivering production-grade capabilities.

Projects will span on-premises and AWS environments, utilizing technologies like Kafka, Spark, Cloud warehouses, and Data Lakes, and programming languages such as Java, Python, and SQL. The AI Engineer will collaborate with AI/ML community and other teams to define the firm’s AI Strategy.

Role Involves:
  • Identifying opportunities and developing technical roadmaps for AI solutions
  • Scope, prioritize, prototype and deliver AI projects
  • Lead collaborations across the firm
  • Deliver analytics and insights to measure value of solutions delivered
  • Partner with groups across the firm on AI initiatives
  • Partner internally to establish rigorous model governance practices
  • Stay up to date on AI/ML market landscape
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated success leveraging AI/ML
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience
  • Development, ownership, and technical leadership of AI solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
