Senior AI Engineer at Showpad

Showpad is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their team in Bucharest. This role is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in the office. The Senior AI Engineer will be at the forefront of Showpad's AI and machine learning initiatives, working with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI technologies. They will also play a mentoring role within the team, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies such as LLM models, AWS Bedrock, and AWS Sagemaker.

The role involves:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining robust AI models.
• Overseeing and directing projects from scoping to release.
• Ensuring the performance and reliability of AI and machine learning systems.
• Mentoring and driving the technical skills of the team.
• Designing and optimizing prompts for AI systems.
• Contributing to engineering and product strategy.

Requirements:

• Educational background in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing AI models and algorithms.
• Good knowledge of Python.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and other Generative AI models.
• Strong experience working with AWS or other cloud providers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for mentoring other team members.
