Job Description
Point72 is seeking a Data Analyst to join the Office of the CIO, supporting the long/short equity research and portfolio management platform. The Data Analyst will partner with the Head of Product Design to deliver best-in-class tools to investment professionals, leveraging data insights to drive innovation. They will generate bespoke reports and dashboards, own the infrastructure for analytics projects, and collaborate with product managers and software developers to improve the firm's investment and management processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to the highest ethical standards.

Role involves:
  • Partnering with the Head of Product Design to deliver best-in-class tools.
  • Generating bespoke reports and dashboards from various sources.
  • Owning the infrastructure and processes related to analytics projects.
  • Collaborating with product managers, designers, and software developers.
  • Communicating data-driven insights and trends to firm management.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in Finance or Technology.
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn.
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Organization and project management skills and experience.
  • Experience delivering solutions through the entire software development life cycle.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel), SQL, Python or other coding languages.
  • Proficiency in Tableau or other BI platforms.
  • Understanding of core finance and investing concepts.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
