Sector Analyst, Energy

Point72 Asset Management is seeking a Sector Analyst, Energy to join its Market Intelligence team. The team collaborates with investment professionals and the Compliance team to gain insights through fundamental research and data analysis.

The role involves:

• Developing expertise in the energy industry.
• Composing research reports.
• Interacting with investment professionals.
• Collaborating with research teams.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of equity/investment/scientific research or consulting experience in the energy markets.
• An undergraduate degree or advanced degree with demonstrated academic success.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and project management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with technical coding/programming (SQL, Python).
