Third Party Risk Associate

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a Third-Party Risk Associate to join their Operational Risk Team in New York. The Operational Risk Team is responsible for identifying, monitoring, and reporting operational risks across the firm. The Third-Party Risk Associate will assist in developing the firm’s Operational Due Diligence program and conduct operational vendor due diligence. He will work with internal stakeholders to evaluate vendors, manage the vendor risk lifecycle, and assist in managing the third-party risk management system. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers, supporting team members, and partnering with Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and Procurement.Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing the firm’s Operational Due Diligence program.
• Conduct comprehensive operational due diligence on third-party vendors.
• Manage the vendor risk lifecycle.
• Assist in managing the third-party risk management system and help drive automation of processes and reporting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and service providers.
• Support other team members in their efforts pertaining to third-party risk as required.
• Partner closely with Compliance, Legal, Information Security, and Procurement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working with external vendors.
• A bachelor’s degree.
