Job Description
Boulevard is seeking a Director of Engineering, Infrastructure to lead their Infrastructure team. The Director will be responsible for providing the cloud infrastructure, automation, and tools that enable teams across Boulevard to deliver products in a safe, secure, and agile manner. They will drive the evolution of the tooling ecosystem and ensure high standards of reliability, performance, and availability of services.
What this role involves:
- Leading a team of infrastructure and security engineers.
- Improving Boulevard’s availability, reliability, compliance, and security.
- Leading strategy and contributing to the delivery of complex projects.
- Collaborating with engineering, finance, legal, and GTM teams.
- Supporting the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical quality.
- Recruiting infrastructure and security engineers.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience, including 3+ years of managing a team of senior engineers.
- Background in owning, architecting, and operating a large-scale production cloud environment in AWS.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and security best practices.
- Ability scaling a cloud application across multiple eras of growth.
- Experience managing costs for a fast-growing cloud application.
- Familiar with cloud-native technologies such as Terraform, Datadog, Sentry, AWS, AWS PostgreSQL, Redis, and Snowflake.
- Familiar with PCI and HIPAA compliance.
