Staff Physical Therapist - Outpatient at Home

Job Description

Kins is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to provide in-home outpatient care in Manhattan or Brooklyn, New York. Kins is a digital health company that focuses on providing high-quality, one-on-one patient care. The therapist will have the opportunity to work with a hybrid treatment model of in-home and virtual patient care and collaborate cross-functionally.Role involves:

• Utilizing the Kins therapist app for patient scheduling, patient communication, home exercise creation, and clinical documentation
• Evaluating, assessing progress, and providing plan of care and exercise prescription for patient caseload
• Consistently ensuring a world-class level of clinical care and patient experience
• Documenting all clinical treatments in the in-app EMR
• Communicating via chat and phone with patients and/or providers as needed
• Scheduling all follow-up visits with patients

Requirements:

• Degree from an accredited PT program
• Active NYS physical therapist license
• Proficiency with technology and managing multiple platforms simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and soft skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage their schedule
• An interest in challenging the status quo and reimaging outpatient physical therapy
• Completed state-regulated CEU requirement in New York
• Up-to-date BLS certification
• Demonstrated excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Excitement to build and deliver a new model for achieving better clinical outcomes
• Creative and flexible, but always puts the patient first
