Supplier Quality Engineer

Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for its manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. The Supplier Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of materials and components used in Gotion's manufacturing process. This role involves developing and implementing quality control plans, conducting supplier audits, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues.Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing quality control plans for suppliers.
• Conducting audits of supplier facilities and quality systems.
• Analyzing quality data and identifying trends.
• Working with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
• Maintaining documentation of all quality activities.
• Collaborating with internal stakeholders.
• Staying up-to-date on industry best practices.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supplier quality engineering role.
• Experience with conducting supplier audits and developing quality control plans.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with quality management software a plus.
