Job Description
Whatnot is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join their Finance team. Whatnot is the largest livestream shopping platform in North America and Europe. The FP&A team is responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analyses. The Senior FP&A Analyst will own end-to-end forecasting for parts of the business, driving forecasting accuracy and empowering business leaders to make financially informed decisions.

Role involves:
  • Owning OPEX spend for Organizations across the business.
  • Partnering with Org leads and People Business Partners.
  • Participating in the annual planning process.
  • Supporting the month-end close process.
  • Creating vendor-level forecasts for spend.
  • Assisting in the creation of internal and external monthly reporting packages.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams for key quarterly reporting deliverables.
  • Partnering with Accounting on policies that impact corporate spend.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A, or Accounting.
  • Expert knowledge of financial statement analysis and corporate finance concepts.
  • Strong familiarity with Accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with ERP Systems (GL + Planning), familiarity with Netsuite and Pigment a plus.
  • Self-starter, high attention to detail, and very organized.
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally, influence, and connect with all business partners.
  • Proven history of diving into numbers and extract insight to improve process or business decision making.
  • Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our New York, Los Angeles, or San Francisco hubs.
