Senior Accountant, US

Job Description

Blockchain.com is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team in Dallas. This role involves building accounting infrastructure and processes to support company growth. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller and will be responsible for maintaining the general ledger, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting with audits.Blockchain.com is the world’s leading software platform for digital assets. • Managing and maintaining the general ledger.
• Reconciling bank, cryptocurrencies wallets, and credit card accounts.
• Preparing journal entries and general ledger account analysis.
• Assisting with monthly close of entities.
• Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.
• Providing support to and manage timely and effective audits.
• Establishing internal controls procedures and processes.
• Responding to ad hoc requests.
• Completing intercompany reconciliations.
• Overseeing and reviewing the work of external consultants.

Requirements:

• Integrity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant.
• 2-5 years experience in accounting/finance functions.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (NetSuite, Trovata, FloQast).
• Interest in the crypto industry.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
