Job Description
Cubist is seeking a Data Operations Analyst to join its data services group. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of data to portfolio managers, supporting predictive modeling in finance. The analyst will be part of a global team responsible for the smooth operation of a large research infrastructure and live production trading across global capital markets.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide Level 1 support for critical data pipelines.
  • Perform daily operations including data validation, data entry, data cleaning, security audits, and reporting.
  • Manage incidents, including user communication and reporting.
  • Develop tools, documentation, and processes to improve daily operations and support.
  • Support complex permission and entitlements operations across various systems.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing support or operations role.
  • Experience with Windows and Linux environments, both on-prem and in AWS.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server and Python.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to process.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to high ethical standards.
  • Financial industry experience preferred.
