Job Description

Digital Extremes is seeking an AI Programmer to collaborate with designers, animators, and programmers in developing AI systems, tools, and behaviors to enhance the gameplay experience. The AI Programmer will utilize their exceptional communication skills and knowledge of the video game industry to contribute innovative ideas and solutions.Role involves:

• Architecting and implementing AI systems for navigation, decision making, and dialog.
• Collaborating with Design and Animation teams to integrate new gameplay features.
• Evaluating and iterating on AI system implementations.
• Maintaining code quality and performance.
• Contributing innovative ideas to game production and development.
• Taking ownership of AI systems.
• Facilitating open team communication.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an AI Programmer in the game industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or game development.
• Experience in Game AI development with shipped products.
• Proficiency in programming languages like C++, JAVA, and/or Python.
• Familiarity with game engine systems such as Unreal and/or Unity.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
