Senior DevOps Engineer at LearnUpon

LearnUpon is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Belgrade. The DevOps Engineer will be part of LearnUpon’s Platform Engineering group, focused on building best-in-class tooling and CI/CD pipelines. This role supports product engineering teams, enabling them to deliver work rapidly through full automation.

The Senior DevOps Engineer will ensure developers have the necessary systems and safeguards, from containerized environments to dynamic cloud setups and comprehensive CI/CD tools.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with CI/CD pipeline improvements.
• Supporting containerized development environments.
• Liaising with Engineering teams on infrastructure/pipeline requirements.
• Utilizing Terraform and other IaC tools to manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Handling integrations to automate the full SDLC.
• Promoting DevOps culture and practices.
• Supporting automation teams to improve testing within the CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional experience in a relevant DevOps role.
• Strong scripting experience (Bash, GoLang, Python etc.).
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Packer.
• Good knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tooling such as Gitlab, Github, Jenkins.
• Experience in containerization technologies, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good project management and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
