Point72 is seeking a Market Data Operations Analyst to join their Data Services Team in New York. This role is crucial for supporting the firm’s market data needs and strategic business initiatives. The analyst will engage with investment professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.Role involves:

• Managing relationships with market data vendors and service providers.
• Supporting the full life cycle of market data procurement and contract negotiation.
• Managing inventory and expenses related to market data.
• Building strong external relationships with data providers and exchanges.
• Managing market data requests from investment teams.
• Onboarding new content and resolving service issues.
• Liaising with Compliance, Legal, Finance, and Technology teams.
• Monitoring service and policy changes in the market data landscape.
• Managing data feed entitlements and user permissions.
• Securing direct low latency feed access across new markets.
• Upholding data governance framework and assisting with data audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree with a strong academic record.
• 3+ years of experience with market data and vendor management.
• Basic knowledge of financial markets and trading strategies.
• Financial industry experience.
• Experience with data management tools like DACS and EMRS (a plus).
• Knowledge of market data infrastructure (a plus).
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
