SmartBear is seeking a Junior Backend Engineer for their ReadyAPI product. The role involves working with internal teams globally to build solutions for API testing. This position offers exposure to cutting-edge development technology and the chance to contribute to tangible, industry-leading products used daily by software developers worldwide.
- Participate in the development and integration of application modules.
- Contribute to technical discussions and requirements analysis.
- Engage in peer design and code reviews.
- Ensure test coverage and code quality align with guidelines.
- Collaborate with geographically diverse teams of developers, testers, UX designers, and product managers.
- Resolve technical issues for customers.
- 1+ years of Java development experience.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming.
- Knowledge of design patterns and good coding practices.
- B2 level English proficiency.
- Experience with HTTP, REST API, Git, and Maven/Gradle.
- Experience with GraphQL,SOAP, Apache Kafka, MQTT, OAuth2, Groovy, JavaFX, Swing would be a plus
