QA Engineer- API Hub at SmartBear

The QA Engineer role at SmartBear involves ensuring the quality of the SmartBear API Hub, focusing on Design (SwaggerHub). It is a technical role critical to implementation, customer usage models, and the development of test plans and suites. The role requires close collaboration with product owners and developers to identify solutions and provide feedback.

Responsibilities:

• Acceptance testing, regression testing, and test automation.
• Identifying business requirements and collaborating with product owners and developers.
• Providing feedback on techniques, solutions, and tools used throughout projects.
• Manual regression testing of integrated components.
• Writing and maintaining automated tests.
• Exploratory testing of feature components.
• Advocating test process within the scrum team.

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in software testing/test automation.
• Experience in test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright, JavaScript, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG.
• Experience with source code management tools like GitHub, SVN.
• Good documentation skills using JIRA, Zephyr Scale, TestRail, Confluence, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC (particularly agile) and testing principles.
• English on at least B2 level.
