SmartBear is seeking a Renewals Specialist to cultivate relationships with customers, serving as their trusted advisor, and comprehending their specific business needs. This role is crucial due to the company's significant growth and global expansion. The Renewals Specialist will foster customer relationships and facilitate sales to enhance retention and customer loyalty for SmartBear products. This position requires a hybrid work model at the Galway office.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to align goals with solutions.
- Ensure account retention and growth of customer lifetime value.
- Drive customer adoption to ensure maximum license utilization.
- Expand customer accounts by identifying needs and selling additional products.
- Monitor and report customer experiences and provide recommendations.
- Collaborate with internal SmartBear teams such as Sales, Product, Support and Finance.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Sales, account management, or customer success experience, especially in software, is a plus.
- Strong customer-focus and service orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships.
- Ability to consult with customers remotely or onsite (if needed).
- Ability to accomplish results working through others.
- Hands on, individual contributor and collaborative team player.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Local to our Galway, Ireland office.
