Cubist Systematic Strategies is seeking a Quantitative Developer Intern for the summer of 2026. Cubist's mission is to be one of the world’s premier investment firms. The KEPL team at Cubist specializes in trading medium-frequency statistical arbitrage strategies. The team values rigorous research and innovative technologies.
The intern will receive comprehensive training and develop analytical skills by working with researchers and developers on real-world problems. Full-time offers may be considered after the internship.
Role involves:

Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree or higher in math, computer science, or other quantitative fields
- Strong analytical skills, with attention to details
- Strong passion in applying new technologies to trading
- Proficiency in Python and either C++ or Java
- Proficiency with Linux environment
- Knowledge of numerical computing is a plus
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
