Data Architect at BJSS

BJSS is seeking a Data Architect to join their team in Lisbon. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and data, with a drive to deliver excellent solutions. The Data Architect will interface directly with customers, lead delivery teams, and mentor others, ensuring high standards and promoting a collaborative environment.

Role involves:

• Leading and mentoring teams of expert technologists on data projects.
• Interfacing with customers to understand their challenges and provide technical expertise.
• Crafting data solutions that meet customer needs.
• Championing quality and innovation in data platform implementations.
• Driving business intelligence and machine learning capabilities.

Requirements:

• Experience with various data platforms (e.g., Databricks).
• Knowledge of data modelling approaches.
• Familiarity with public cloud services (AWS and Azure).
• Deep understanding of security and privacy in data platform implementations.
• Experience with OLTP and analytical warehouses.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and C-Level stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of the full product lifecycle.
