Data Architect at BJSS

BJSS is seeking a Data Architect to join their team in Porto. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and data, with a desire to deliver excellent solutions and a drive to learn. The Data Architect will be a technical authority, interfacing directly with customers and leading delivery teams by example.

The Data Architect responsibilities includes:

• Leading delivery teams to craft excellent data solutions.
• Mentoring others and championing their experience.
• Understanding customer challenges and providing solutions.
• Applying knowledge of security and privacy to data platform implementations.
• Engaging with C-level stakeholders and championing quality throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements for the Data Architect role include:

• Wide experience of the data ecosystem, including numerous data platforms (e.g., Databricks), data modeling approaches, and public cloud services (AWS and Azure).
• Deep knowledge of security and privacy and their applications on data platform implementations.
• Experience with OLTP and analytical warehouses.
• Experience in Agile methodologies and C-Level stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery and a champion of quality.
