Senior Accounting Analyst at Mangopay

Mangopay is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their Accounting organization in Madrid. The company aims to power payment infrastructure for marketplaces and platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in Mangopay's growth and success, focusing on modernizing financial reporting processes and driving improvements and automation.

The Senior Accounting Analyst will work within the Finance Organisation, contributing to the transformation into an intelligent finance function that includes the implementation of SAP4/HANA and Robotic Process Automation programs. They will build scalable, controlled processes, enabling the business to operate efficiently.

Role Involves:

• Managing month-end close activities.
• Designing and documenting SOPs to build strong internal controls.
• Identifying and managing GAAP to Stat differences.
• Leading process improvement initiatives.
• Managing payroll accounting and compliance.
• Leading audit processes.
• Coordinating with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.
• Collaborating with the tax department.
• Mentoring junior accountants.
• Preparing financial reports.

Requirements:

• Strong sense of ownership.
• 7+ years experience in relevant areas with process improvement and automation.
• Experience with SAP/4HANA Public Cloud.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
• ACCA/CIMA qualifications are welcome.
• Ability to embrace and drive change in a fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Finance, Data Analytics, or Accounting.
