Technical Sourcing Specialist at Fictiv

Fictiv is seeking a Technical Sourcing Specialist to join their team in Guangzhou, China. Fictiv is a technology company transforming the manufacturing industry.

The Technical Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for the intelligent sourcing, qualification, and distribution of work within Fictiv's Manufacturing Partner network. The role involves developing and overseeing the China operation’s distributed Manufacturing Partner network.

What this role involves:

• Developing, managing, auditing, and improving Manufacturing Partner planning and execution.
• Providing technical leadership for onboarding Manufacturing Partners.
• Facilitating communication of technical requirements.
• Conducting supplier audits.
• Collaborating with internal teams to define performance specifications.
• Negotiating terms with Production Manufacturing Partners.
• Managing the China supply network.
• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies.
• Conducting cost and scenario analysis and benchmarking.

Requirements:

• 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, global supply, or quality management.
• A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain management.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with quality management systems.
• Proficient in cost analysis for raw materials and production processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30% of the time).
