Business Analyst, Macro Middle Office Technology

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a Business Analyst to join their Technology team, specifically within the Macro Middle Office Trade Processing and Position Team. This team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and automation of systems that process trade executions into position keeping systems. The role involves working with a global team and supporting a wide range of financial products.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing and documenting business processes through communication with management, stakeholders, and developers.
• Researching, measuring, and analyzing requirements, translating them into implementation specifications.
• Understanding functional and process requirements to define optimal deliverables.
• Building consensus between stakeholders and developers to define clear and testable acceptance criteria.
• Working with developers throughout the SDLC process.
• Documenting data and process flows.
• Organizing, maintaining, and tracking capacity, velocity, statuses, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of financial services industry experience as a Business Analyst.
• Experience with a third-party books and records system (e.g., Orchestrade, Murex, Calypso, FIS).
• Fundamental knowledge of financial products (fixed income, FX, credit, equities, etc.).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail.
