Job Description

Point72 is seeking a Business Information Security Officer (BISO) to join their Global Information Security team. This role serves as a trusted security advisor for the Equities business. The BISO will partner with Equities leadership, integrating with business and technology teams to proactively identify, track, and guide the teams to remediate security risks. The ideal candidate will excel at translating technical risks into business impact, developing pragmatic security solutions, and fostering a strong risk-aware culture.

Role responsibilities include:

• Serving as the primary point of contact on information security matters.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive information security strategy.
• Conducting risk assessments and providing mitigation recommendations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure security controls.
• Engaging with stakeholders to understand security needs and provide guidance.
• Participating in the evaluation and selection of security technologies.
• Conducting security awareness and training programs.
• Overseeing remediation activities.
• Monitoring and analyzing security metrics and reports.
• Staying up to date with emerging security threats and regulatory changes.

Requirements include:

• Proven experience as a Business Information Security Officer within the financial services industry.
• Deep understanding of information security principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex security risks.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading security initiatives and managing projects.
• Familiarity with key security technologies and controls.
• Understanding of Co-location and cloud security principles.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
