Job Description

Skylo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategy and execution of its connectivity platform services. This role, reporting to the VP of Product, will focus on defining and commercializing new service offerings, leveraging Skylo's network capabilities. The Senior Product Manager will engage with diverse customers and partners, including MNVOs, MNOs, OEMs, and chipset/module makers, to understand their needs and translate them into actionable product requirements. This role is located in Mountain View, CA where employee is onsite 3 days a week.

This role involves:

  • Owning the product roadmap for Skylo's service offerings.
  • Engaging with diverse customers to understand their needs.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and sales teams.
  • Defining and commercializing new services from concept to launch.
  • Analyzing market trends and identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Measuring and iterating on product design based on data-driven insights.
  • Championing the customer's needs throughout the product development process.

Requirements include:

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with knowledge of terrestrial and non-terrestrial technologies.
  • Understanding of bringing a new service to market.
  • Ability to define and execute product roadmaps.
  • Technical acumen to discuss complex concepts with engineers.
  • Communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working with diverse customer segments.
  • Data-driven decision-making mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
