DevOps Specialist

Job Description

TripArc, a $750 million privately held company that powers the top Travel Agencies and Tour Operators in North America, is seeking a DevOps Specialist to join their team in Toronto. The DevOps Specialist will collaborate with Infrastructure, Database, and Development teams to build and maintain DevOps capabilities and support product development.

The role involves planning, implementing, and maintaining the software development infrastructure, including CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. The specialist will automate software development, testing, and release processes for continuous delivery and manage Azure infrastructure, overseeing software development automation across cloud services.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure DevOps and Kubernetes, along with proficiency in Git, Docker, and automation software like Ansible and Terraform.

• Collaborate with teams to build and maintain DevOps capabilities
• Plan, implement, and maintain software development infrastructure
• Automate software development, testing, and release processes
• Manage Azure infrastructure
• Contribute to software design and development
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability platforms
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Create and maintain internal documentation

Requirements:

• Experience with Azure DevOps and Kubernetes
• 5 years of relevant experience in software development or systems administration in a DevOps environment
• Proficient with Git, Git workflows, and container frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with automation software (e.g., Ansible) and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
• DevOps certification
• Experience with system integration including API, cloud, and SaaS-driven solutions
• Knowledge of security fundamentals and governance
• Significant experience with hybrid, private, and public cloud setups (specifically Azure)
