Job Description

Gotion Inc. seeks a Director of Government Affairs to lead communications with U.S. federal and state governments, regulatory bodies, and industry associations. The Director will monitor and analyze policy trends in areas such as new energy, battery manufacturing, and supply chain security. They will participate in congressional hearings and policy lobbying activities, build strategic partnerships with key lawmakers, think tanks, and industry alliances, and manage government communication during crisis events.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading daily communications with the U.S. federal and state governments.
  • Monitoring and analyzing policy trends in the new energy sector.
  • Participating in congressional hearings and policy lobbying activities.
  • Building strategic partnerships with key lawmakers and industry alliances.
  • Managing government communication and public opinion response during crisis events.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Business Management, or related fields.
  • At least 15 years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or related fields.
  • Deep understanding of U.S. policy-making processes and regulatory systems.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong policy analysis and leadership abilities.
