Job Description
Point72 seeks a Head of Commodities Technology to lead the technology framework for their new Commodities business. The successful candidate will design and implement technology solutions to empower commodities portfolio managers. This role involves collaborating with portfolio managers to understand their needs and translate them into technology solutions. The Head of Commodities Technology will integrate data analytics and real-time market data to optimize decision-making. They will ensure the technology infrastructure is secure and scalable.
    Role involves:
  • Developing and implementing a technology strategy for the Commodities business
  • Creating and deploying trading systems and platforms
  • Collaborating with portfolio managers
  • Integrating advanced data analytics
  • Ensuring technology infrastructure is secure and scalable
  • Leading a team of technology professionals
    Requirements:
  • Experience across Commodities asset classes, especially power and natural gas
  • Experience with third-party CTRM solutions (e.g., Endur OpenLink)
  • Experience leading high-performing technology teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
