Customer Advocate at Yext

Yext is seeking a Customer Advocate to join the Hearsay team, now an integral part of Yext, in Manila, Philippines. This is not a sales role. The Customer Advocate will assist existing customers in using intuitive software marketing tools to achieve success. Hearsay Systems is the leading enterprise cloud company offering sophisticated client engagement products to companies within the financial services vertical.

The ideal candidate will be a quality communicator with a passion for building relationships and driving customer engagement with the product features.

Responsibilities include:

• Driving end-user engagement of product features through education and training
• Managing a set of contacts and driving product usage from start to finish
• Collaborating with the team to share best practices
• Proactively identifying solutions to customer questions
• Acting as a liaison between customers and Hearsay Systems engineers
• Serving as an internal voice of the customer
• Coaching customers on the value of Hearsay products
• Becoming an expert on Hearsay Systems

Requirements include:

• At least 1-2 years of relevant customer service/support experience
• Excellent teammate with a positive attitude and a strong sense of self-direction
• Proactive with willingness to initiate conversations and actively listen
• Resourceful and creative
• Clear communication skills
• Strong handle of spoken and written English
• Persuasive with the ability to earn trust and influence action
• A general interest in finance/personal investing (experience in financial services a plus)
• Basic understanding of social media, texting and other channels of communication
• Amenable to working between 9:00PM to 9:00AM Manila Time
