Principal Product Designer at Technology & Product

Zeals is seeking a Principal Product Designer to elevate experience design within the company. This role involves driving product initiatives, shaping user-centered experiences, and guiding the evolution of design systems. The Principal Product Designer will mentor other designers, partner with cross-functional leaders, and champion user-centered thinking across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute critical product design initiatives
• Apply expertise in UX, UI, and interaction design
• Set and influence product-wide design standards
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to shape product strategy
• Drive the evolution of the design system
• Mentor and support other designers
• Champion user-centered thinking
• Identify opportunities for strategic research

Requirements:

• 8+ years of product design experience
• Portfolio demonstrating exceptional design craft
• Mastery of UX, UI, and interaction design principles
• Experience setting or evolving design systems
• Strong storytelling and communication skills
• Experience mentoring and supporting other designers
• Comfort operating in ambiguity
• Proficiency in Figma
