Point72 is seeking a Software Developer to join their Technology team. The candidate will enhance and extend a system that tracks global tradable assets and their valuation in near real-time. This role involves working closely with analytics library developers to design and develop new features and grow the platform. The candidate will join the Macro Technology team, working with and learning from seasoned experts in supporting a complex global business.
What this role involves:
Writing code in C# to extend the system to support new asset classes and pricing models.
Following a robust SDLC process that includes code coverage requirements, code review, monitoring, and support.
Contributing ideas to team discussions on data modeling, software design, and more.
Requirements:
Experience building high-performance distributed software in the cloud with C#.
3+ years of experience as a C# software developer.
Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, K8s, and RDS.
Experience with messaging and RPC protocols such as REST, gRPC, and Kafka.
Familiarity with monitoring and test coverage tools and standards, such as DataDog and SonarQube.
Clear communication skills, a passion for crafting quality applications, and an interest in financial products and trading.
