Senior Network Security Engineer

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join its Technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, designing, engineering, implementing, and supporting network security solutions across the firm. This role involves working alongside subject matter experts across security, infrastructure, networks, development, and business teams, contributing to a collaborative and innovative culture.

• Serve as the lead engineer and architect for a range of network security solutions
• Manage advanced configurations and the global architecture of Palo Alto Firewalls and Prisma Access SASE solutions
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure integration of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR
• Perform regular risk assessments of network infrastructure
• Provide training on network security best practices to staff

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network security
• Expertise in network security tools and technologies, including firewalls (Palo Alto Networks, IDS/IPS, WAF, NDR, SASE, DDoS Protection)
• Demonstrated experience with Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions
• Advanced knowledge of network detection and response (NDR) platforms
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, including AWS, Azure, or GCP environments, and their associated security controls
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
