Site Reliability Engineer, Technology

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability and performance of its global trading platform. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with top professionals to make a significant impact on the company's technology infrastructure.He/She will be responsible for maintaining the health of the trading platform, analyzing system performance, and implementing improvements. The engineer will also develop automation tools, respond to incidents, and work closely with software engineering, support, and investment professionals.

• Monitoring and maintaining the health of our global trading platform
• Analyzing system performance and implement improvements
• Developing and maintaining automation tools
• Responding to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
• Working closely with software engineering, support, and investment professionals

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in programming, system administration, and cloud platforms
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, and Python
• Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS)
• Experience in building, deploying, and supporting large-scale distributed applications
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, SDLC, and testing methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills, a team player mentality, and attention to detail
