Point72 is seeking a Software Engineer in Warsaw to join its Technology Team. The successful candidate will oversee the technical specifications and guide the build out of a system to support an end-to-end market data lifecycle. They will ensure timely and accurate delivery of market data to trading and analytical systems and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure.Role Involves:

  • Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of market data to trading and analytical systems.
  • Optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure to handle large volumes of market data efficiently.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to a team of talented engineers and analysts.
  • Collaborating with market data vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Implementing and maintaining data quality standards and processes.
  • Overseeing the integration of market data with various trading platforms.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends and advancements in market data technologies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data warehousing, ETL processes, and programming languages (e.g., C#, SQL, Python).
  • Deep understanding of trading systems and financial instruments.
