Hindi Science (Physics) Video Localization Expert - Freelancer at Khan Academy

Khan Academy is seeking a freelance Hindi Science (Physics) Video Localization Expert to support their Math and Science offerings in Indian languages. The ideal candidate will be passionate about science, fluent in Hindi, and have experience in video localization.

The role involves localizing English Science videos into Hindi, reviewing and editing existing content, and creating new localized video content. This role requires someone confortable in the subject up to class XII level.

Responsibilities include:

• Localizing English Science videos into Hindi.
• Reviewing and Editing KA ScienceHindi content and/or creating and localizing new content as needed.
• Collecting on-ground feedback from state teachers.
• Highlighting any modifications needed before localisation while going through Science textbooks.
• Proofreading and editing final translated versions ensuring quality.
• Developing glossary for the specific terminologies.

Requirements:

• Loves Science (especially Physics) up to class XII level.
• Fluent in Hindi (speaking and writing).
• Native Hindi speaker.
• Video making experience.
• Experience in online teaching, video creation/Localization is a plus.
• Being tech-savvy and tech-curious is a plus.
