System Engineer, Windows Technology

Job Description

Point72 is seeking a System Engineer to join their Technology team in New York. The candidate will be responsible for administering, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The role involves server installations, upgrades, and patch management, as well as managing Active Directory environments. This professional will also be expected to implement and maintain security measures, utilize Infoblox for network services, and develop scripts in Splunk and PowerShell.Role involves:

• Administer, configure, and maintain Windows servers.
• Perform server installations, upgrades, and patch management.
• Manage and maintain Active Directory environments.
• Implement and maintain security measures.
• Implement and maintain Quest software solutions.
• Utilize Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
• Develop scripts in Splunk and PowerShell.
• Work closely with Technology and Information Security teams.
• Provide technical support and guidance.

Requirements include:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Windows server administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
• Experience with Quest products.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell.
• Familiarity with security tools and practices, as well as Splunk.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
