Job Description
Perplexity is seeking a skilled Search Quality Analyst to contribute to the advancement of its search technologies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in extracting valuable insights from user behavior, thereby guiding the product roadmap and expediting user adoption. This position is based in Belgrade.Perplexity has experienced significant growth since launching its conversational answer engine, now handling millions of daily queries and serving enterprise clients like Nvidia and Zoom. The company is backed by prominent investors and has seen substantial employee growth.Responsibilities:
  • Develop data-driven insights from user behavior.
  • Formulate and validate hypotheses through A/B testing.
  • Determine and implement metrics and visualizations in dashboards.
  • Design and implement data pipelines for ML team support.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience as a data analyst or related role.
  • Experience with search-related products and A/B experiment analysis.
  • Strong Python skills.
  • Proficiency with SQL.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
  • Deep knowledge of statistics.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Apache Spark.
  • Experience with Databricks.
  • Experience with development of LLM-as-a-judge systems.
