Assistant Category Buyer - Women's Sport & Lifestyle at THE ICONIC

THE ICONIC is seeking an Assistant Category Buyer for Women's Sport & Lifestyle to join their team in Sydney. The role supports the Category Buyer in achieving sales growth within the category, aligned with THE ICONIC’s commercial strategy.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Category Buyer include:

• Assisting with trade analysis and commentary
• Supporting buyers in pursuing trade opportunities
• Assisting with SKU lifecycle management
• Helping to hold suppliers accountable for delivery failures
• Reviewing product reports and providing key findings
• Running vendor performance reports
• Assisting with SWOT analysis
• Attending showings and actioning follow-up notes
• Building strong relationships with suppliers
• Maintaining the trading terms matrix
• Ensuring advertised stock is delivered on time
• Managing and populating marketing SKU lists
• Assisting with marketing monthly priorities
• Identifying product and trends relevant to customer segment

The ideal candidate will have:

• Assistant Buyer experience in a multi-brand fashion/retail environment
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to build successful business relationships
• Inquisitive nature with a love for numbers.
• Passion for retail and trends in women's fashion, sport, and lifestyle
