Finance and Operations Client Director

Job Description

Spaulding Ridge is seeking a Client Director to join their Finance & Operations Practice. The Client Director will lead client engagements, serve as a functional finance expert, drive sales efforts, build and coach the consulting team, author thought leadership, and drive best practices. This role involves working with practice leadership to build a team that helps clients improve their businesses using technology.

Responsibilities:

• Leading F&O client engagements as project lead and functional expert.
• Advising on client business processes including financial close, transactional reporting, and FP&A.
• Building and coaching the F&O team with a focus on client success.
• Bringing best practices to project implementations.
• Supporting Business Development activities including building proposals and client presentations.
• Leading project teams while adhering to Spaulding Ridge’s delivery methodology.
• Contributing to practice development through thought leadership and training development.
• Working with company leadership to recruit and mentor new talent.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of prior work experience in financial management consulting or corporate finance.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in translating customer business needs into solutions.
• Experience in change management and business process mapping.
• Expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or Business preferred.
