Job Description
Contentful is seeking a Senior Demo Engineer to develop digital applications showcasing the use of Contentful. The role involves being at the forefront of new product features and playing a critical role in bringing them to market through demos featured in product launches and customer conferences. The Senior Demo Engineer will also contribute to user enablement by developing how-to guides, tutorials, and technical videos, and occasionally conducting in-person workshops.

Role involves:
  • Supporting customer use cases and enabling integrations with cloud providers and SaaS vendors.
  • Prototyping solutions in the form of components, apps, and demo environments.
  • Mastering technical topics underpinning the Contentful platform.
  • Leveraging devops infrastructure and AI tools to automate tasks.
  • Collaborating with various teams to create polished demo sites and apps.
  • Coaching junior engineers and acting as a tech lead.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of software development or systems engineering experience.
  • Strong technical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
  • Solid understanding of modern frontend frameworks.
  • Extensive experience working with APIs (including GraphQL API).
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows and devops best practices.
  • Good communication skills and proactive attitude.
