Senior Fullstack Engineer (f/m/d)

Job Description

Contentful is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Demo team. This role involves developing digital applications that showcase Contentful's capabilities across various categories. The engineer will play a key role in introducing new product features to the market through demos featured in product launches and customer conferences.

The Senior Fullstack Engineer will also contribute to user education by creating how-to guides, tutorials, and technical videos. They will work on a wide range of tasks, including frontend, backend, QA, and DevOps, across web, internal tooling, and AI projects.

The role involves:

• Supporting customer use cases and enabling integrations with cloud providers, AI services, and SaaS vendors.
• Prototyping solutions in the form of components, apps, integrations, or demo environments.
• Mastering technical topics underpinning the Contentful platform.
• Leveraging DevOps infrastructure and AI tools to automate tasks and support workflows.
• Collaborating with Sales Engineering, Developer Relations, and Product Marketing.
• Coaching junior engineers and acting as a tech lead.

Requirements include:

• 7+ years of software development or systems engineering experience.
• Strong technical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
• Understanding of modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue/Svelte).
• Experience working with APIs (including GraphQL API).
• Understanding of CI/CD workflows and DevOps best practices.
• Good communication skills.
