Contentful is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join their Demo team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing digital applications showcasing the use of Contentful within well-established categories and emerging areas. He/she will play a critical role in bringing new product features to the market by building demos featured in product launches, analyst calls and annual customer conferences. In the role, He/she will also help Contentful users get the most out of the product by developing how-to guides and tutorials, recording technical videos, and conducting in-person workshops.

This is a hands-on position that requires solid development skills and experience in shipping successful digital applications. Creative thinking and good UX instincts are important for this role.

Role involves:

  • Supporting customer use cases and enable integrations with cloud providers, AI services and SaaS vendors
  • Identifying high-value technical problems and prototype quick solutions.
  • Mastering technical topics underpinning Contentful platform use.
  • Leveraging devops infrastructure and AI tools to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Prototyping new integrations with tech partners.
  • Collaborating with Sales Engineering, Developer Relations and Product Marketing teams.
  • Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Design teams.
  • Coaching junior engineers and peers.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of software development and/or systems engineering experience
  • Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and React
  • Understanding of modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue/Svelte)
  • Experience working with APIs (including GraphQL API)
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows and devops best practices
  • Ability to identify and prioritize high-impact problems
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in full-stack development, working with AI, implementing design systems, launching mobile apps
