Job Description
Everlaw is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in Oakland, CA. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of features within Everlaw's eDiscovery platform, contributing to its core functionality and infrastructure. The Software Engineer will collaborate with product, design, and other engineering teams to build and implement new features, fix defects, and provide on-call support. Responsibilities: - Choose from a wide variety of features options, owning them from inception to release as the sole contributor.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Engineering Operations, Security Engineering, and DevOps teams.
- Fix defects in the product by triaging product or system issues and writing code to debug and resolve these issues.
- Provide on-call support for the product by answering questions from customers, and triaging defects and exceptions.
- Contribute to documentation for internal engineering consumption.
- Become product certified and learn the ins and outs of the Everlaw platform.
Requirements: - BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent coursework.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- For SWE I: Good knowledge of algorithms and fundamental computer science concepts, experience and proficiency in coding in a dominant language such as C++, Java, Python, or Javascript, and some experience building small software projects.
- For SWE II or higher: Full-time experience working as a Software Engineer.
