Senior Manager – Royalty Audit at Sony Music Careers - Asia & Middle East

Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a Senior Manager, Royalty Audit to support the objectives of the Royalty Audit Department. The Senior Manager will be responsible for fieldwork, preparing rebuttals to audit reports, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare rebuttals to audit reports.
• Oversee fieldwork for assigned audits.
• Perform unit and financial reconciliations.
• Manage the audit reserve provisioning for artist, JV, copyright and union audits.
• Strategic projects as assigned by Director or VP of Royalty Audits.

Requirements:

• CA / CPA or equivalent, with 5+ years of recent audit or royalty accounting experience.
• Extensive experience reviewing and interpreting complex agreements.
• Prior experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
• Prior experience in managing internal/external audits.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with all levels of management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ready to work in US shift (4.30pm – 1.30am) & flexible to extend if needed.
