Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Job Description

FalconX is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to help revolutionize institutional access to crypto markets. The candidate will design and implement robust cloud security frameworks across multiple environments to protect company data and infrastructure. This role involves security architecture, system design, security monitoring, incident response, compliance, risk management, and collaboration with IT and development teams.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust cloud security frameworks.
• Monitor cloud environments for security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Ensure cloud platforms comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) systems.
• Utilize automation tools like Terraform to deploy secure infrastructures.
• Work closely with IT and development teams to integrate security controls.
• Advise and train team members on cloud security best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a cloud security role.
• Expertise in designing and maintaining secure cloud environments on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies.
• Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working from 2 PM to 11 PM Shift.
