Job Description

Ai2 is seeking a Research Scientist to join the Aristo team in Seattle, WA. The Research Scientist will focus on applying AI to scientific discovery, working on projects involving intelligent agents, data-driven approaches, and automated scientific research assistants. The ideal candidate will be passionate about AI and its potential to advance scientific processes.

Role Involves:

• Agentic planning, reasoning, and learning
• Automated and AI-assisted scientific discovery
• Data-driven discovery

• Model tuning and specialization

Requirements:

• PhD (or nearing completion) in Computer Science or related field
• Strong publication record in AI-related areas (ACL, ICLR, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML, NAACL)
• Strong software engineering skills
