Starlight is seeking an Analyst, Environmental and Community to contribute to the development and implementation of environmental and social strategies. The role involves incorporating environmental and social criteria into the planning and permitting of renewable infrastructure projects. The Analyst will report to the Vice President, Environmental & Community and collaborate with a team of professionals. The candidate will also assist the Group Environmental, Social and Governance Team.
Role involves:
- Integrating E&S criteria in site screening
- Participating in project design
- Reviewing application documents
- Coordinating project permitting applications
- Identifying and developing voluntary measures to create positive impacts
- Preparing and managing the scope of work and bid processes for E&S consultants
Requirements:
- A sustainability-related academic background
- 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant sector as an environmental professional
- E&S technical expertise
- Work-related experience with key standards and initiatives
- Experience in international environments and biodiversity
