Allen AI is seeking a passionate Young Investigator to join their team in Seattle, WA. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in AI and its application to scientific discovery. The Young Investigator will work collaboratively on projects related to intelligent agents, data-driven discovery, and AI research assistants, while also pursuing an independent research agenda.Ai2's Aristo team focuses on machine reasoning, learning, and explanation, with a recent emphasis on assisted and automated scientific discovery. The successful candidate will collaborate with world-class AI researchers and talented software engineers, striving for significant breakthroughs in an interactive and exciting workplace.Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively on AI research projects.
• Pursue an independent research agenda.
• Contribute to advancements in machine reasoning, learning, and explanation.

Requirements:

• PhD in Computer Science or a related field, completed within one year or already obtained.
• Strong publication record in AI-related areas (ACL, ICLR, EMNLP, NeurIPS, ICML, NAACL).
• Strong software engineering skills.
