Senior Software Engineer at Tempus

Tempus is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Barcelona. The company is focused on precision medicine and leveraging AI to improve clinical care. The Senior Software Engineer will work within the Tempus One Platform engineering team, building GenAI solutions that enhance various products across the organization. This role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to integrate GenAI capabilities to deliver impactful experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver projects aligned with quarterly goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to set achievable goals, dividing them into smaller team projects.
• Support team member growth, considering their skills and backgrounds.
• Provide constructive feedback.
• Write adaptable, reusable, and efficient code.
• Proactively identify and address technical dependencies owned by other teams.

Requirements:

• Experience working on software development teams.
• Proficiency in technical analysis and design.
• Experience solving problems with data-driven, iterative software development.
• Understanding of distributed and event-based architecture.
• Experience working in agile environments.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python
