Cloud Engineer

Job Description

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer to help design and build a new secure cloud-based enclave and migrate off legacy on-premises infrastructure. The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for Operations and Maintenance (O&M) tasks, evolving and enhancing the cloud architecture, identifying and mitigating system and data risks, and maintaining Assessment & Authorization (A&A) compliance.Responsibilities include:

• Designing and building a new secure cloud enclave on AWS.
• Performing Operations and Maintenance (O&M) tasks.
• Evolving and enhancing the cloud architecture.
• Identifying and mitigating system and data risks.
• Achieving and maintaining Assessment & Authorization (A&A) compliance.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of Best Practices for implementing the security services provided by Amazon AWS.
• Knowledge of security constraints and required protections for enclave accreditation in an AWS cloud.
• Experience making virtual machine configuration changes.
• Experience setting up and maintaining an AWS-cloud based VPC.
• Experience deploying and maintaining Windows environments in AWS.
• Experience managing MS Product Suite, MS SQL, and MS Server 2012/2016/2019/2022.
• Experience deploying and managing log aggregation systems, such as Splunk.
• Experience maintaining system accreditation.
• AWS Cloud Solutions Architect - Professional Certification.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
